Account Information: Email address, username, display name, and password (hashed). If you sign up via OAuth (Google, Discord), we receive your name and email from the provider.

Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, match results, bot configurations, tournament participation, and prediction history.

Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device information, and cookies for session management and analytics.

Payment Data: If you purchase tokens, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Platform
• Process competition entries and prize payouts
• Detect and prevent fraud, cheating, and abuse
• Display your public profile, rankings, and match history
• Communicate about your account, competitions, and Platform updates
• Analyze usage patterns to improve the experience

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

• Service providers: Hosting (Vercel), payments (Stripe), analytics
• Legal requirements: When required by law, subpoena, or court order
• Safety: To protect the rights, safety, or property of AoA or its users

4. Public Information

Your username, display name, league rank, match history, bot names, and tournament results are visible to other users. Bot configurations and attribute details may be partially visible on leaderboards and profile pages.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Match history and tournament results are retained indefinitely for historical records and leaderboards. You may request account deletion by contacting us.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for session management (authentication) and anonymous usage tracking (uid cookie). We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted passwords (bcrypt via pgcrypto), HTTPS, httpOnly session cookies, rate limiting, and server-side match validation. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data. Contact us at privacy@ageofai.com to exercise these rights.

9. Children

AoA is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us for removal.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify users of material changes through the Platform.
